The Democratic Republic of the Congo is 80% arable land, and the soil in the region where our products are grown does not require the use of chemical fertilizers.

The cocoa supplied by our company is purely organic and free of foreign bodies; it is processed under the requirements and standards according to ONAPAC (DRC’s Regulatory Authority) standards. ONAPAC stands for Office National des Produits Agricoles du Congo (French) and aims to:

The cocoa, coffee, vanilla and other food products supplied by our company are purely organic and free of foreign bodies. They are processed according to the requirements and standards of ONAPAC (Office National des Produits Agricoles du Congo) and Uganda Coffee Development Authority. They aim to:  

– Determine the quality of the products.

– Control the processing, handling and packaging of the products.

– Approve exporters and control the negotiation of products.

– Approve hangars, warehouses, storage centers, factories, roasting plants and to control them, in particular their compliance with the rules issued by the competent international organizations.

– Propose to the Regulatory Boards the most appropriate standards for the definition of commercial types suitable for the international market, etc.

The fields in which the cocoa is exploited are in the predominantly forest zone located in the equatorial forest while respecting environmental standards.
The fields have shade trees to keep agroforestry in line with the fight against deforestation and climate change. For a sustainable operation, farmers are trained in techniques for renewing the soil with natural compost, particularly manure, rotting pods, etc.
